Bathroom remodels in Hunterdon County, New Jersey can cost as little as $5,000 with full scopes of work ranging from $15,000-$25,000 on average.

If you’re reading this, chances are you’ve stared at yourself in the same bathroom mirror one too many times wondering why you’ve tolerated those peeling laminate vanity doors and that yellow seashell shaped sink for so long. Let’s face it, if it’s functional, it’s tolerable…to a degree. Then the day comes when enough is enough, and you decide to make a change. It’s a bold choice, the one where you finally design and invest in a space that is truly yours.

At the very least, painting the walls and ceiling and replacing the toilet, vanity, sink, mirror and flooring can make a world of difference. Depending on the size of your bathroom, the sky is the limit when it comes to different features that are available. This type of remodel can certainly be done on most budgets from economical stock material choices to premium quality products and finishes.

If you’re looking to keep things budget friendly, a great reference point is expecting to spend at least $5,000 for the above scope of work. Keep in mind this would include builder grade products which tend to lack aesthetic appeal in comparison to luxury grade materials but are most likely a superior option to what is being replaced.

On the flip side of a budget remodel is a full scope “demo to studs restart.” If you’re interested in going a bit more in depth with a project (i.e. new drywall, shower replacement, tile flooring, high end fixtures, custom vanity and countertop), this brings on a new realm of investment range.

Undressing an existing bathroom to studs and starting from scratch will likely run in the range of $15,000-$25,000 and will vary based on material selections. More often than not, labor costs tend to remain unchanged regardless of the cost of the materials you select to have your remodeling pro install. So it’s important to note that in a sense, you have control over the costs of the remodel with material selection being directly related to the overall project cost.

No matter your budget, there’s typically a scope of work and selection of materials that will align with giving your bathroom the upgrades it certainly deserves. Unless of course, you really love that 1970s wallpaper and seashell sink. In that case, let it rock!
